U boyz are trippin! The guy would get punished so bad even the haters wouldnt be able to watch the beating Floyd would issue him, it would be that severe! And if he fights Cotto? Margarito could realistically die in that fight! It concerns me as a human being!

As I've said 1,000 times Floyd got the same amount for fighting Baldomir, and Baldomir was well known more than Margarito. Baldomir beat Zab Judah(well known) and Arturo Gatt(well known). Who has Margarito beaten?

                Floyd Mayweather Jr
                WBC Welterweight Title
                IBO Welterweight Title
                IBA Welterweight Title

Fact: Floyd avoided fighting Antonio Margarito and he turned down 8 million dollars in doing so.

Fact: Floyd's fight with Baldy was matched and he made more than 8 million- plus he became the undisputed welterweight champion.

Fact: Beating Baldy is how Floyd got to his current position where he is now looking at a May fight with Oscar de la Hoya. A fight where he stands to make 20+ million dollars.

Antonio Margarito's hopes of fighting floyd have come and gone for now. The fact that he isn't facing williams is very very questionable- it certainly would allude to margarito and his team being hypocrites. Floyd is set up to make some big fights this year aside from the ultra huge de la hoya fight- fights that could likely involve shane mosley or even winky wright if floyd looks good at 154 and gets past oscar. those fights are on a completely different level compared to margarito and floyd.

Don't take this the wrong way- i would love for floyd to fight antonio- but at this point in time, for that to even be considered- Tony has to beat guys like williams, and if he could get a fight with Zab that would be HUGE for making a case against mayweather to fight him.

But the fact is: there are other big names that Tony could jump on to fight him and he needs to go after those names to get to mayweather, cos floyd (unfortunately) always has dollar bill signs in his eyes. which to me isn't part of what makes a great champion or a great p4p fighter- but that's how floyd rolls. and that isn't going to change for anybody. not even his fans.

Antonio Margarito needs a realistic hitlist, i'll even help him start one:

                    Williams
                    Cotto
Judah (if he can get it)
Mosley (if he can get it)
Ouma (if he goes back down to 154, Tony will have to get up there if thats where floyd is trying to be)

there are plenty of guys he could fight. and if he's as dangerous as he is supposed to be- a brutal KO of any one of these fighters would be enough for floyd to have to open his eyes.

simply this is what's going Margarito had his fun saying everyone is ducking him, that's not the problem the problem is the money involved, that's why mayweather never made a deal to fight margarito because chances to win is not that great and also the pay-day wouldn't be that great, that's a bad combo, basically boxers think $$$$$$ over risk instead of risk over $$$$$$$$
Margarito is at this stage right now $$$$$$$ over risk paul williams is now what margarito was before he would take risk over money, don't know if that made sense, lol
