I don't think this fight was fixed at all. Seldon lost this fight before he entered the ring. He was scared out of his mind & it showed. If I remeber correctly after the fight when Tyson was interviewed, he said something to the effect that he can't make these fighters fight him; meaning that he thought that Seldon was giving up.

Michael Spinks had much greater credentials than Seldon, and if you look at him before the fight he was just as scared. Some of Tyson's opponents completley froze when they fought him. Seldon also had a glass jaw, Jose Ribalta knocked him face-down for almost a 10 count in the with the first punch in his fight with Seldon. This was not a "fix", it was a superior fighter completley destroying an inferior one.
