Oh yes I bet he can go down in weight if he really wanted to. That's not his natural weight after all. He just don't want to go down too much in weight now because he is fighting much bigger and heavier guys.

I'll say take a six months or better a year rest while working out on his weight then comeback next year as a completely new fighter in the light heavy.

I don't know I just hate to see those fighting skills go to waste.

He's not getting hurt. The knockdown was a fluke. He was off-balance. Why retire? There are so many crappier heavyweights out there.....

i think it was the worst style match up for james.. peter is the biggest fastest strongest youngest heavyweight right now. peter may be the best in the world right now I, and i think james wasnt expecting him to improve that much.. you can really see how much peter loves boxing , and when you love somehting you just keep improving if he gets better he could be a force

if he came in at 220 he would have won the fight .. he got too big and lost too much speed.. too much muscle , he was top heavy

Toney's technique is so good that he can make up for his declining strength, agility, and overall athleticism in the ring, but the time has come for him to just to call it a career, and a great ****in career at that.

If Toney can take Peter's shots and exchange with him, he can beat most of the other heavies out there. The shape he was in on saturday, he would have been able to do enough to beat Rahman. I can see Toney taking Rahman in a rematch, beating Maskaev, Lyahovich (shot), and probably Briggs too because his stamina is awfull and he doesn't **** as hard as Peter. However, Peter has his number and Wlad would destroy him.

no, he should fight Byrd finally and if he wins he should take on one of the other champs.

the only guy I think he'd beat there is briggs. valuev is just too big and would knock him around,,,plus maskeav would beat him the same way peter did,,,although toney could make that one very very close
