Margarito has been turned down by a lot of fighters, and he was not only called the "most feared welterweight" by his promoter but also by boxing writers. Of, course if you're a newbie, which you are, you'll ask, "where is the link?" but haters know that many fighters have turned down fights with Margarito, making him at one time "the most feared welterweight!" Now fighters supposedly are lining up to fight him, which is good.

Margarito was turned down constantly because he was a nobody. Williams is not a nobody. He has been showcased on HBO and just about everyone who knows anything about boxing considers Williams the best prospect in not just the welterweight division, but the entire sport. This is not the usual nobody that Margarito fights.

You don't think Williams is ducked? Why couldn't he get a decent opponent for his fight on the Mayweather undercard? None of the top welterweights wanted a piece of him. Now by Margarito's actions, he has shown he does not want a piece of Paul Williams either.

How exactly will it help Margarito fight Cintron's leftovers (Estrada)? Just like I said, Margarito is used to fighting bums. When he FINALLY steps up in competition, he will lose. He knows it...

Margarito is ducking Williams and if he's supposedly the most feared man is boxing or the best in the welterweight divison then why is he basically giving up his belt to not fight williams, i think williams would take him out early margarito is all about the ko and look horrible against clottey. why give up your belt when you could beat williams if possible and then fight cotto for his belt?
