    Rocko! Remember the Neighborhood!

Considering that Sylvester Stallone is all but irrelevant in modern-day Hollywood - and being one whose skepticism often overpowers his more optimistic moments - it was easy to believe that “Rocky Balboa” was just a cheap attempt steal back some long lost limelight for its creator.

I've said here on the forum a few times I'm rooting for Sly to make a comeback in Hollywood.

I think they have to respect his achievement with ROCKY BALBOA.

It was a moving and emotional piece that capped the series beautifully.

      Rocky Balboa was great.
Better than most could have possibly anticipated.

I credit him for trying to salvage his creation but this writer's lost his edge. Rocky beat out ****in Taxi Driver for best picture... TAXI DRIVER. I'm not saying the Academy Awards are infalible, hardly, but Rocky was cathartic considering all the **** the country had been through. It's beyond just a great sports movie, it's a great movie.

This time around, Rocky Balboa is short and so it seems sweet, but No. Everyone keeps saying it's the best out of all the sequels like that's a GOOD thing. It's really not.

Bull****, it was extremely low budget. The movie again like the one before it had a decent script but was clearly done on the cheap.

Tarver's character need to be worked on a helluva lot more, they were too buddy buddy, he needed to somehow insult Adrian...he needed to really get under Rocky's skin which was done with every oppoenent Rock ever faced.

What the **** was up with the girl, when Rocky's kid walked into the restuarant and she looked at him in that wierd way and then they never ever did anything with it.

Burt Young and Rocky were the best they were the same and they had a few special moments but it could have been better.

Done on the cheap, 5 was beter then 6.

What did you expect, cars blowing up and houses collapse?

It wasn't about getting under Rocks skin. He is not some 20+ year old to lose his temper and get into fights.
                  It would have looked ******!

The point of a movie was that this aged, ex champ, who lost EVERYTHING he had except for the sport of boxing and the fans who love him.

His wife died, he had no relationship with his son, the neighborhood where he grew up was destroyed, money all gone..
All he had left are his boxing stories...

He used that fight to get his life back on track... feel the fame again.. come back from depression
