They fought each other in the amateurs twice.

Berto beat VANES the first fight, VANES beat him in the 2nd fight by bigger margin on points.

Watchin those tapes, I see alotttt more improvement in VANES' game than I do with Berto's.
Thats a crazy fight between two top prospects. I doubt this fight would happen, too much for either to lose so early in there careers. But i wouldn't mind seeing this fight.

oh, its not on video bro. I thought maybe you were at WildCard today.

i couldnt make it myself, but as usual, it was a gym stopper and they went at each other hard.

No, but would have been great to see this sparring. Is the gym open to the public?

usually is, unless Pacman or Toney are training/sparring.

If DLH trains with Freddie for PBF fight, there is a veryyy good chance his main sparring partner will be Vanes since they are the same weight.

Now that will be crazy, and of course, completely closed and private, ya DLH is pretty strict on that. Wonder if I can watch em sometimes at least

If Vanes gets sparring from Delahoya he will get even better cause that would be some great sparring. Look at Castillo who used to sparr religiously with Chavez and Margarito with Delahoya, they both became better fighters, Castillo became great. That would be a great sparring sessions to watch.

oh no doubt, plus Vanes is very quick and the workout would really benefit DLH too given he is gonna step in the ring with perhaps the fastest hands he has ever faced.

But of course man, it would be an incredible experience for Vanes cuz he really looks up to DLH and DLH is real fond of him too, he once called Vanes "The Armenian Golden Boy" lol.

both of em have real charisma and class and can sell themselves well.
