Yo Fight Fans,
Just a very short note from me as I am already back in camp and wont be writing until after my fight with Michael Sprott on 17th February as nothing is going to break my focus.
I am looking forward to the fight. It will be good to be back at Wembley again and it is great that I am fighting so early in 2007. After the win over Danny Williams, I kept my training ticking over, my fitness up and I was still working in the gym but I did allow myself a few days off to rest, recover and spend some time with my family. That helped me unwind but I was eager to get back to training as I really want to build on my last performance.
My confidence is back after my performance against Danny and I was very glad to be able to clean out my demons and get my career back on track. I am looking forward to my next fight and I am sure it will be a good year for me.
2007 is all about getting a world title. All my focus is towards taking the necessary steps to fulfil my goal. Michael Sprott is in my way and as I said after the fight was announced, it is nothing personal, but if I am to achieve what I believe I can, then I have to beat Sprott and keep moving forwards. We have sparred together in the past and although that means he has experienced my style, I obviously will know how he fights so it will be an intriguing night at Wembley.
I just want to say a short word about Scott Gammer. I am very disappointed in his refusal to accept my challenge. He is a joker and has devalued the British title by not fighting the best available challenger. He spent a year calling me out and as soon as he sees me put in a good and confident performance, he runs away from the challenge. If he does fight Danny Williams, I predict that Danny will knock him out.
Anyway, that is all from me. I am staying focused, and as I have said, I am in camp already and expect to put in another pleasing performance.
Thanks for staying with me.
Peace.
A-Force.
