Travis Simms vs. Joachim Alcine

I believe Alcine is the #1 contender for Simms' WBA belt. This could be a very good fight between two skilled boxers with power.

Alcine has a few nice wins over guys like Carlos Bojorquez, Daniels and Mamani. Dude can punch with both hands and is a pretty slick, technical boxer. A lot of people just got to see for the first time what Travis Simms can do in the ring. Simms also has the good wins over Garcia and McKart.

This fight would be a solid, interesting fight between a couple of skilled boxer/punchers. Who would you take? I don't think Simms said anything post-Rivera about taking on Alcine or anything...he just mentioned helping out Collazo with Mosley. This fight needs to happen.

This fight will probably not happen because promoters are going to milk Simms and Alcine for all they got and then let them fight each other. I think it's a good fight, I am taking Simms because he seems to have a little more skill and mental toughness. Alcine seems a little soft for me but he is a skilled guy, very unknown too.
