During the fight I noticed that Rivera was wearing ads for at least 3 differnt places on his gear, then changed into a tshirt from yet another advertizer.
How much money does this kind of sponsorship bring a fighter in a televised bout?
Are there different rates if the fight is not televised, and do they vary for what channel the fighter is on?
I don't begrudge anyone a nickel they make, but I've seen more and more of this advertizing on boxing and I'm worried that the trend will increase and soon it will be like watching NASCAR.

. What was funny was that in about 3 or 4 rounds that ad had disappeared.
