How did you rate the ref's intervention in the first round?

I'm an admirer of Toney's and I know Sam's a little bit of Peter The Rabbit (c. The Ring) but did it seem a little suspect that he stepped in to warn Peter and hold up the action when Toney got hurt?

Speaking of Toney being hurt, I can never get over reading posters who say stuff like "Toney's never been KO'd, so he never will be". The guy's spent around 90% of his career OUTSIDE the heavyweight division. Just because he hasn't been laid out at middle, supermiddle.... etc., does NOT mean that there won't come a time when his Lights Out nickname will become ironic. Great chin though.

Lastly, who were the 31% of Showtime viewers who predicted a Toney KO victory?

I think those statistics are made up bull****. You dial in, they take ur money, end of story. The statistics are shown to make people who would predict the outcome which was more than likely a Peter's KO or decision win, be like, woa? Does the public know something I don't? Can Toney reallly KO Sam this time? Has he been working on something new? Who knows, though I think it's made up so they can get the viewers to stay tuned in. I dunno. They were bs statistcs, that's alls I know.

I doubt they were BS, I think Toney has just attracted a lot of casual sports fans who don't know anything about boxing but think that because he talks and looks tough, he has Mike Tyson like power.

I'm not talking about people on this forum, just like frat guys in college, pro wrestling fans, and the like. Looked like there was a lot in the audience that night.

To be fair though, that DOES describe a lot of people on this forum.

Well, that was the ref who was insane during Lacy-Reid, but I felt like it was a good call last night. He hit him right on the back of the head, but not hard, and was warned harshly and immediately. Rabbit punches are serious business, moreso than lowblows, and should be treated just that way. If this ref had been there for Wlad-Peter, then there would have been only 1 knockdown ruled (as there should have been) instead of 3.

Peter does hit behind the head quite a few times but what can you really do when Toney is bending down and turning his head. Toney was given a huge break in the first round. He was hurt and I think on the verge of getting knocked down.

Great call... He hit Toney directly to the back of the head so he should have been warned.

The punch on the break should have been a point deducted. It was extremely intentional.

LOL, yet more ironic, hurt and WOUNDED bitching from someone who's on this site all day and has no hair.

I suppose you're saying that Hatton is the best heavyweight out there? He's a Brit and so are you, so that must be what you're saying. You've just called Toney a ****. You haven't actually, but I'll say you have to slate you.

How ironic. I don't know what it means, but it's ironic anyway. And Wlad Klitschko is gay and was on ***** Street... the place where they buy silky sheets. How ironic your irony is, it's ironic.

You're like a sausage stalking GIRL putting SPIN on everything and are a WASTE. How ironic.

                  Sorry, I was missing Bozo.
