You guys need to stop talking **** about James Toney

Yeah, some could say that Toney brought this on himself, but still he deserves respect for his in-the-ring abilities, I really don't care what they say about his out of the ring personality (and I don't think James would either.)

Peter has never knocked out a top ten fighter. He has fought one three times and two of the three were against a former middleweight. Peter will KO Maskaev because Maskaev is slow and possesses a very suspect chin.

The man is tough and thats what he is...He went 24 rounds with the hardest puncher at HW, and Toney a former middleweight, I rooted for Peter in the first fight, and this fight too I predicted a KO in both fights, many respects to Toney what a chin. Some of these guys are talking **** about Toney etc, I admit he talks a lot of ****, but hes a fighter and I respect him for what he does in the ring, Peter knocked down wlad 3 times in 12 rounds, Peter knocked Toney once in 24 rounds, give the guy some credit, I'm a Peter fan but I appreciate Toney's skills and what he does inside the ring, i could'nt less about what he does or says Outside, Peter KO's Maskaev now and Unifies with Wlad, Wlad is clearly the best HW right now so Peter needs to go for him after Maskaev.

Many Many Respects to James Toney, One of the best fighters in this era who tried his best yesterday.

Peter rule the division now, and I apologize to many toney fans who are being called names. I THINK THE BOTTOM LINE IS WE LOVE JAMES TONEY ITS JUST SOME FANS, AND ONLY SOME FANS THAT MAKE RIDICILOUS COMMENTS THAT PISSES US OFF, E.G MARGARITO FANS, But this thread is dedicated to what Toney has Accomplished.

I gave my respect to toney as a warrior in a post last night. Ive always admired him as a fighter,,,I just dont like his attitude toward his opponents and his fanatic fans that cant look at things objectively. he did go out like a man last night. I still cant believe he was able to go the full 12 rounds after that 2nd round. I really thought he was going to get stopped at that point unless peter totally ran out of gas which he didnt. major props to toney for hanging in there and giving us a good fight to watch

Who punches harder than Peter? Tye Fields or Nikolay Valuev?

I think wlad is a bigger knockout puncher. peters punches lack the snap to really put the lights out on solid heavyweights with one shot but I think he is the physically strongest guy out there. pure knockout power I'd put him at #2 behind wlad. they do have 1 common opponent charles shufford who fought a very defensive fight with both guys and didnt get hit clean often by either guy but when he did he went down against wlad but stayed upright against peter. I know that doesnt mean everything but it is some indication when comparing power
