I want to get into boxing. Its something Ive always thought about, but when I was younger I was more of a baseball player. Now Im looking at my life and Im thinking that I have accomplished nothing. I havnt done the things that I said I wanted to do when I was younger. Now Im 26, single, working in a family owned business that actually does pretty well for me financially, but there is something missing. I need that competition that I used to feed off of when I was younger. I have become lazy, and I want to change.
I do not want to get into boxing just to work out, I want to do competitive fighting, not just training. Its probably too late to become a champ, but I dont see any other way for me to get the satisfaction I am looking for other than being the best. I am not a good loser, when I lose, no matter what I am doing, I feel like my world is ending. I dont want to come across as unrealistic because I know it is unlikely that I will become champ of the world, but I wanted to hear some thoughts from some of you warriors here. 26, out of shape, and un-experienced, lol, I know Im gonna get some funny responses, but Im the kind of person that thinks he can do anything. I always thought that I was bound to be something great, the best in the world at something, in my youth it was baseball, until a torn ACL made me give up. I would just like to prove to everybody that told me I couldnt do it, that I was too ****y, that I wasnt being ****y, just confident. Thanks for your time.
