maybe in the future but definetly not yet.

Your realize HBO picks the dates for much of their fights. I mean most recently, they just picked a date for the Barrera-Marquez fight.

So if they pick their dates, it would be simple to move a fight back or forward a week in order to avoid same-night deals.

or maybe we'll see UFC move to friday. Or maybe we'll see the some Doubleheaders, Where theres a boxing match in europe that airs at 5:00 pm est here in the US, and ends at like 8, and then a UFC match that starts at 8:30 or 9:00

    u see?

HBO is in waaaaaay to deep with boxing to pull out now. U dont understand. Boxing may not be that popular, but since HBO plays all the good fights, EVERY boxing fans has HBO. It brings in huge ratings and tons of money for the network. As of now, UFC fans have plenty of other places to go, including showtime

HBO is the boxing world's crown ***el.

It's **** that UFC gets to walk right in the door.

Some of our greatest boxers dream of fighting on HBO - they may never get the chance. Fighters all over the world that want HBO. Mayweather brags about HBO like it's one of his ***elry ensembles.

And now TITO ORTIZ os going to be on HBO?

I'll see a promo of ORTIZ before the Sopranos?

      That's ****ed.

Most of UFC is PPV. So this might turn into HBO PPV doing UFC. I hope the money doesnt meet right and keep MMA away from HBO and boxing.

and you realize there are more weeks without boxing on HBO then there are weeks WITH boxing???

cause those empty spots may be filled with UFC.

But again... at BEST UFC will only have 12 cards a year... so there will still be plenty of space for both sports.

Only difference is, Boxing is garunteed to stay. Its proven that it can hold a steady and high ratings. UFC hasnt.

And even if UFC somehow towers over BOXING in the ratings, HBO will always keep boxing because they will have about 30 other saturdays with nothing to air after movies so...
