Baldomir and Clottey fought, and Clottey was embarrassing him before the fight was skewed in Baldomir's favor because of point deductions. The fight ended in a draw, and I'd actually say Baldomir's outing against Clottey was worse than Margarito's.

Either way this goes back to the idea that people just don't give Clottey enough credit. He runs 10 miles a day, and is always game making him a threat to other guys.....especially if they're injured or not 100%. The idea that he hurt his hand in the fight and was able to continue had nothing to do with Margarito not being able to finish him....it was Clottey's ability to survive and go the distance: something that wasn't really in the cards according to everyone who had these "high expectations" for Margarito....when they were just looking for a reason to hate on him to begin with.
