Either Mikkel Kessler or Graciano Rocchigiani!?

The source is usually reliable, but I don't know if I can believe this. This is abit random.

If he gets a fight with Kessler it would perhaps show up Calzaghe a bit. If Kessler is as good as he is said to be then he should beat Woods. Clinton is a strong Lightheavy though, and has a good chin so he should take a few rounds off Kessler at the least.

Seems a bit far fetched, but maybe Kessler thinks a win over Woods would lead him closer to a showdown with Calzaghe.

would kessler give up his smw titles to fight woods at lhw?

or would it be a non-title match?

i can't see this happening - there would be absolutely no point for kessler. he doesn't need to move up right now unless he thinks he won't get the big fights he wants at smw. maybe one of the danish posters can provide an opinion here...

Agreed. Have heard rumours as well, that Woods were in talks with Kessler. But i absolutely fail to see what's in it for Kessler (or Woods for that matter) Giving up two belts at SMW to fight Woods just seems too far fetched.

I might add that the rumours seems to be from the Woods camp. Haven't heard any Kessler ppl mention Woods lately.

Kessler would probably KO Woods down the stretch, but it wouldn't be an easy fight for him.

Well he'd gain one and become a two weight champion. And he would gain publicity in the market that would make a Calzaghe fight much more marketable (possibly at LHW which is where Calzaghe really should be fighting at these days). Yeah, nothing to gain.

Can't see it though unless Kessler struggles at the weight.

Graciano Rocchigiani??? He hasn't boxed since 2003, is 43 and looks like fifty, this will not happen.
