What did you think of Rocky Balboa?

Anyone who has seen it yet, what do you reckon?

I know there are a few problems with it, but I thought it was well done, or as well done as it could be at this point.

the realism really did it for me. Very much so an enjoyable movie. I wish they would have let him win but oh well.

Its a nice closure for true ROCKY fans.

If you arnt a Rocky fan, not much of a great movie by itself, but thats obvious i guess.

I thought it was very well done. They did a good job of showing the struggle it is for someone to let go of something they love. Both with Adrian and with boxing.

I felt, of all the other Rocky movies, it was the closet to the original ROCKY. Apart from the final "exhibition fight" (which by the way had the most authentic pre-fight sequence in any movie I've seen), I thought the movie was deep in a way. I kinda shows how hard life is for successful professional pugilists after boxing (and prolly a lot of the money) is over for them.

I myself am a HUGE Rocky fan. I own all the movies and have the game for PS2. I must've seen all the movies over 100 times each.

the new one, i cant say i overly enjoyed it. i felt Stallone tried to draw too much of a parallel between Rocky Balboa and the original 5. everyone always says the old ones are cheesy, but they were great movies. this one, however, was slightly cheesy in my mind. the fight was alright, i prefer the OLD sound style of the fights, didnt care much for the new realism tactic.

would i go see it again? prob not. will I own it in the future? definatly.

I thought it was a great movie, great dialoge, and better fight scenes.

                  Great movie.

But i thought the story will end diffirent. Remember that son of Rocky's female friend. I thought Rocky will train the guy to be a boxer, kinda like passing of the torch. Then face Mason "Legend Killer" Tarver
