what time did you get up?
i love to run in the desert.As it's so hot in lasvegas
i run at around 8 AM in the winter monthes i run at around 9 AM
do you stretch before you run ?
only light stretching , because i tend to pull my muscles
how far do you run?
5 miles a day , 6 days a week
after running , what do you do ?
shadowboxing and then sit-ups , and
push-ups before cooling down
what do you eat for breakfast?
fruit juice ,yogurt,fruit and toast
what time do you go to the gym?
i go to the gym at around 4 pm and finish at around
6 pm if i am sparring , i will be a little longer
what do you do after training?
i relax and wind down from the adrenaline
rush of being in the ring
what do you have for dinner?
chicken with pasta , potatos or rice on the side
do you have any hobbies?
i love playing golf and riding my harley davidson motorbike around
las vegas,i also enjoy taking my little girl bowling or to the movies
what do you do after dinner?
watch a dvd or go to the movies
what time do you go to bed ?
when i'm in training for a fight i go to bed at
around 10 pm so i can get up early to run
what is your favorite exercise ?
sit-ups on an exercise ball . i hold a 20-pound plate
behind my head while balanceing on the ball,and continue to do sit-ups
how many days do you train?
seven days a week , with a light workout on sunday , i have always done this throughout
my career .when eddie futch trained me , he couldn't get me to take a day off training
did you have a job before you won the world title?
i started boxing at the age of 8 and i didnt turn pro untill i was 22
when i left school i worked on a training scheme where i studied carpentry which i loved
i then worked as a caretaker in a church in belfast . after that
i went to the olympics - and the rest is history
