How do you think we will look back on boxing as it is today?

Do you think we'll consider it a low point of the sport, all that talent but none of them making an effort to showcase it on the best there is?

Looking back, will we consider Floyd Mayweather one of the greatest fighters of all time?

Will we put Roy Jones and Bernard Hopkins in the same league as the Archie Moore's and Marvin Hagler's of yesteryear?

Will we cherish this generation of boxers making the sport what it is today?

How do YOU think we will look back on this era of boxing in 10-20 years time?

I think we will look back and say wow. For the simple fact that the lower divisions were extremely talented. I think Mayweather will be respected but not liked. Despite the lack of the heavyweight division this is still a good era in boxing. It's just that it's not as popular as it should be. And people will always remeber Corrales vs. Castillo 1.

I reckon boxing's at its best now since Tyson exploded onto the scene and lit the show up.

Think of the great fights of the last few years - Coralles - Castillo is the best example.

I think boxing is driven more now through money than ever before (HBO), but that doesn't mean it's dead. Not that you meant to say that, Geoff, I was just adding to my original statement.

Same old song and dance from you Geoff. I put my opinion across in an intelligent fashion, you throw insults my way.

If you don't want people to disagree with you, don't post.
