Jim Lampley Arrested for Domestic Abuse

TMZ is reporting that Former Los Angeles TV sportscaster and current HBO boxing announcer Jim Lampley was arrested late Wednesday afternoon by San Diego County sheriff's deputies on su****ion of domestic violence and other counts.

A brief news release from the Sheriff's Department indicated that Lampley, was being held not only for su****ion of violating a restraining order, but also dissuading a witness.

The website TMZ.com further reports that Police confirmed to them that Lampley, posted his $35,000 bail in order to be released from the Vista Detention Facility in north San Diego County. Lampley faces one felony count of domestic abuse / corporal injury, as well as two misdemeanor counts of violating a restraining order and preventing a witness from testifying.

Sources tell TMZ that because of previous complaints, Lampley was arrested by an investigative team at his girlfriend's home in Encinitas, CA.

Did you catch the Holyfield-Mercer rebroadcast the other day. Scully and Joe Tessistore redid the commentary. Scully was damn good IMO. Back to Lampley the guy ran for cover and left his daughter on the floor of the garden during the Bowe-Golota riot. This doesn't surprise me one bit the guy is a grade A chicken ****.
