The Barrera offer which was 50/50 of the total purse (the details I forget, but it was a boxingscene article where i got it from).
The deal was on the table until this past Monday, but Pac did not respond.

The Vazquez who KO'd Larios is not the one who fought Pacquiao, that was Hector Velazquez who isn't at or around the same level.

I feel Pac ****ed up in signing with arum, he made shots at Barrera, Marquez, Barrios, and even Joan Guzman nearly impossible by siding with arum. His best options at Top Rank would be Valero or top rank fighter Soto, which i wouldn't mind seeing but wouldn't generate nearly as much interest or revenue.

I'm not talking about isreal vasquez I'm talking about the guy who pac beat when morales lost to raheem.
I honestly don't know how much he made. I'm not his accountin. Maybe he won't make 2.5 againts jmm, but he will get a fair share for the fight. Jmm vs barrera won't make as much money, but mab doesn't have to be put down by being offered a lesser percentage.
Money wise maybe should of gone againts pac, but that would also take away from his pride by giveing up percentage to pac. I guess you can say its the principle of the thing.

I don't think you read our whole conversation but he was referring to the fighter who beat larios before larios fought pac and it was that guy in your sig who happened to be a sparring partner of pac, got it?

Why do side with the promoters on this one?

IF two fighters belong to different promoters then let those promoters make the fight.

Why do we justify GBP not making the fight because PAC is with TOP RANK ? Its the fighters that climb the ring not GBP or TOP Rank.

so if Top Rank offered MAB 2.5M plus PPV shares, GBP and/or MAB should at least make a counter offer.

You misread, he was reffering to the fight Pac had the night Morales fought Raheem, and i know who Vazquez and Velazquez are very well, got it?

That's exactly my point, if marco would be receiving more money against pac and would have the chance to redeem himself, why in the world would he fight a low reward/high risk against marquez?

I completely agree with you, but you and I both know that the situation in boxing is one where promoters are more about their politics and fueds than making good fights, and Pacman could havew avoided all that by signing into the goldenboy stable, they ALL would have cashed in, well except Arum.
