All HBO has that is official (besides the Jan and Feb BADs with Arce and Malignaggi respectively) is the two cards you mentioned (plus DLH-Mayweather on May 6 HBO PPV), but they have several other things they are trying to finalize...
Feb 10 Mosley-Collazo (WCB)
Mar 3 Cotto-Urkal (WCB)
Mar 10 Barrera-Marquez (PPV)
April 14 Taylor-Winky II (PPV) (Golden Boy CEO Schaefer disclosed that this date is being set aside for the rematch, although we know negotiations won't be easy. I'm thinking HBO is going to try to pay Winky the difference between what will be contractually promised to Taylor and himself, therefore making the deal 50-50)
June 9 Margarito-Cotto (PPV) (this will happen if the Cotto-Urkal fight is in fact on HBO and Margarito beats Williams, if they fight)
July 14 Hopkins-TBA (PPV) (Hopefully Calzaghe, but who knows...)
July-August Hatton-Castillo (PPV) (If they both win Jan.20, this is basically a done deal)
Summer Vargas-Mayorga (PPV) (Vargas seems to think this is a done deal, though I've heard nothing from anyone else)
I realize alot of this is PPV, so the lack of firm WCB dates is disappointing, but there will be plenty of boxing on HBO in 2007, even off PPV. Just wait a few more weeks, and I'm sure a couple more things will get signed and sealed. Almost all the weeks immediately after the PPVs will be filled with one-fight WCB cards to pair with the PPV replay, so there is a handful of dates right there.Last edited by cupcrazy01; 01-04-2007, 08:11 AM.Comment

Also, Showtime only has two cards officially set for 2007 as well, the Peter-Toney II and Adamek-Dawson cards for Jan and Feb. When you consider they had the Tszyu-Hatton fight for June 2005 signed (I think) by the December or January before the fight, the fact that they have nothing for March (yet) is noteworthy if you're going to take shots at HBO.
I'm sure they want Cotto-Urkal, but they probably won't be willing to pay what HBO has offered (they have right of first refusal).Comment
