For real. I have sometimes wondered if there was some sort of conspiracy.i mean there were witness who saw washington holding tysons hand and groping him . I am not a huge fan of Tyson, and I would not put this type of behavior past him; however, this conviction seems more about punishing him for what he could do and not what actually happened. I could be wrong, but I heard that the victim went to the bathroom and removed her "feminine device" before returning to the bedroom where Mike was. That sounds like she was expecting some sort of contact.Comment

Yea.
Pretty sketchy. I catch a ton of ****e from people when I bring up all the weird stuff about that trial.
"He bit that mans ear! Of course he ****d that girl....look at him"
Im pretty sure the gay lawyer bit was due to the fact that Tyson didnt seem to take it seriously till they started telling him how long he was going to prison.Comment

Gunstar, Washington did in fact file a civil lawsuit against Tyson in June of 1992 (the 23rd to be exact), so...
But then again, she also had previously turned down a rumoured million dollar offer made by some minister in Providence (on behalf of Tyson, with hopes that she'd drop the **** charges...A big FBI investigation resulted from that) prior to the trial taking place, which is a sum, I believe, that was just about equal to what she settled for in the civil case.Comment
