If McCline only could realize how big and strong he is he could win this fight. But!!! He doesn't so he will get destroyed in this fight. He was even intimidated by Byrd and rocked. If McCline brawls he can win. Valuev by late round tko over the cowering McCline.

I think he has a shot......I mean Valuev really sucks he is just really big......however the same can be said about McCline most of the time.McCline can box better than valuev tho and if he comes to fight he has a good shot IMO

he's got a shot, but it's hard to say with Valuev's size. McCline could beat him, he just has to fight smart, which should be easy, cause Valuev doesn't stick and move, he just telegraphs his punches.

          I agree here.

Fighting a man of Valuev's size, you've got to fight a smart fight. But in order to be able to fight a smart fight you've got to have the stamina to move around.

The last thing McCline can do is to stay within Valuev's range and he'll fall down like a log.

mccline was intimidated by byrd's skills, he knew he didn't believe in himself as much as byrd believes in himself. the saddest thing about mccline is that he could beat the circus freak valuev, but i think when he sees that monster in front of him he'll be too scared and just try and survive the fight. barrett hurt valuev with his looping shots, mccline has more power but doesn't believe in it. he needs to fight with desperation, he should realize this is his last chance to get strap

No, No I don't think Mcline stands a chance. Here's why.

If he tries to go for the knockout, he'll get caught plain and simple. He's not accurate to begin with....and the way he wins rounds is by throwing compact hooks on the inside while looking like he's ****ting his pants in fear. If he tries to go the distance....he'll fade just like he did against Wlad and Sherman Williams.

He's not a quality fighter and neither is Valuev....but at least Valuev is consistently bad in his style. There are times that Mcline just flat out doesn't show up to fight, and if he does try and enforce his will....he looks really scared doing it. I think that's a classic case where a fighter hangs on to 1 single semi-significant knockout victory. Even though Lewis had exposed Grant.....that was like Mcline's only claim to fame. Outside of that he's done nothing really impressive except for hold his own against Byrd and Brock, and won a few unimpressive decisions over inferior comp.

Good Post RWK. I agree, Mcline doesnt stand a chance. Valuev is gonna chop him down like a big oak tree IMO. Mcline was the prison boxing champ right ? I forget but wasnt he the guy who won all those prison titles ? Valuev just too big , too powerful and damn to hairy !

I honestly feel that any decent fighter has a shot with Valuev. McCline is what I would consider a 'B' level journeymen. I'm far from sold on the big guy, so I might just have to say McCline has a shot. All it takes to beat Valuev is to win early rounds, build up a lead, then play defense against his nasty, wide, slow shots and hold tight. Can Jameel do it? Maybe not. But I'm not counting anyone out against Valuev.

ANY big puncher has a good chance against valuev because he always looks so wide open its rediculous. Sooner or later someones gonna take the openings.
