It does not work everywhere.......But I have a filter and I trade my boxes in often......unless there is some hero douche bag tech that checks every returned box before resetting it which there are a few so I get popped here and there you can get 2 or so a month for nothing.Google digital cable filters and don't believe everything you read from either side of the fight......If you follow the instructions it works where I live.
