    Jirov v.s. Tarver

This fight was pretty controversial. If you're going to score by Olympic standards I'd say Tarver should have been awarded the nod in that fight.

Prime Tarver vs. Prime Jirov...little chance that Tarver could show the same heart Toney showed in outlasting Vassily.

Toney's boxing skill is far superior to both so much that I'd hazard to guess if Tarver or Jirov fought Toney 10 times he'd win ten times.

That's only because it's a terrible stylistic matchup for either Jirov or Tarver...although the Toney v.s. Jirov fight was pretty memorable. Tarver's only advantage in a fight with Toney, and his only defense in his fight with Jirov....was the fact that he only throws nonstop straight punches. Since he is tall and rangy, he can do that: **** ain't going to cut it against Toney, because he'll just get countered all ****in night.

So if someone is going to come at me with that Tarver beats Toney jazz just save it. Foker Out.

I think in the pros Jirov wears out Tarver and stops him. He was just stronger and able to fight more of a dogfight over the long haul. Tarver was able to pop Jirov crisply but Jirov seems to be able to deal with the heat better.

That fight right there was pretty close based on what I saw, but Tarver definitely one that 2nd round. Too bad they didn't show the whole thing.

I can't find the full fight anywhere, and I want the full Harding v.s. Tarver 2
