Pointless tread i see Tyson had Spinks number simple as and i think spinks would ave been more scared off tyson after Prison even then Spinks was a true Cruiser Weight and should ave stayed their where he would ave been unbeatable

bear in mind that a lot of people picked spinks to beat tyson . spinks was the most skilled boxer that tyson ever fought . tyson beat spinks because spinks couldnt land anything becuse of tysons headmovement . tyson then sprang on him with lethal punches to the body and head . spinks couldnt avoid tysons shots because they came at different angles and in combination after prison tyson didnt move his head , was easy to hit , threw one punch at a time and telegraphed his shots . if botha could out box tyson why couldnt spinks?.

Honestly, I think Spinks could outpoint a post-prison Tyson to pretty good effect. It would be a relatively safe bet to put money on the Jinx in such a match up. Post prison Tyson didn't have the drive, didn't have the head movement nor the combinations....he essentially looked for one shot to take you out; and Spinks could deal with that a lot better than he handled the version of Mike he actually fought.....but Mike wouldn't quit, I don't think.

And I'll tell you something else, Spinks would have had almost as good of a chance against the post-Rooney/pre-prison Tyson.

He's one of the strangest "characters" I've encountered on a boxing forum.
