    Talked to Diego Corrales today.

    I work at the airport here in Las Vegas and saw him passing through. He says he is going to be fighting at 147, and he has two confirmed dates here in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay. He said he has a fight coming up but they dont know the opponent yet, he said he wants Hatton but hatton doesnt want to fight at 147.

    theres no way he is fighting Hatton any time soon, with Hatton busy with Castillo and at 140. I think he should fight Collazo, why not?? good cross roads fight and if he cant beat Collazo he cant be champ. It would be a good matchup

      sweet. havent heard much from him. All his options at 147 are good for the fans.

      Collazo=war
      cotto=war
      margarito=war

      But let me ask you this. If WILLIAMS meets MARGARITO in March or something, and WILLIAMS wins, and COTTO ducks WILLIAMS, do u think CORRALES is a possible opponent for either WILLIAMS or COTTO???

            Keep Corrales away from any boxers. Or any slugger that know how to box. Corrales fighting Collazo is a "W" for Collazo. He fight Hatton, then Corrales is in his comfort zone, just keep him away from boxers. Mayweather, Freitas clearly outboxed him, Freitas was way ahead before calling it a day, and Casamayor out boxed Corrales in there third fight.

              i'm glad that corrales isn't trying to fight at 140, i think that it would be too much of s struggle for him, i was talking with my friend the other day about it saying that he barely made 139 at his last weigh-in,140 he would still be drainned, 147 would be best.

              for years corrales has been killing himself and fighting completely emaciated which has probably stifled his perforamces to his fullest potential. if you watch his fights and the weigh-ins you see that he is completely zapped, i've seen him being carried off the scales before and if you notice he doesn't break a sweat until late in the fight because he hasn't rehydrated from making weight. had that not been the case i bet his fights would've been far less competitive and he would defeat guys much more easily.

              i'm glad to here that chico is going to fight at 147, the only thing that he needs to do is take the transition slow and take a couple of tune up fights to get acclimated to the weight, because it's going to be a alot different at 147. i wish him the best of luck Chico is one of my absolute favorites a true Peoples Champ and a class act through and through. ( and don't try and bring up the whole ask his wife thing, chicks drive guys crazy, nuff said about that)

                I'm not so sure I like the idea of Chico jumping 2 weight classes

                  Corrales kept the fight VERY close against casamayor, i had corrales winning by a point as did many others.

                  The freitas fight was a great fight, and he was ahead, but many at ringside had it tied going into the tenth. ANd Corrales closed the show like the champ he is.

                  He stalks down boxers and if they arent careful and experienced, then they WILL get knocked out. Collazo doesnt have the experience he needs, corrales knocks him out brutally in the 8th or 9th rounds.

                  Hatton would be a war, but i love both guys, top 3 favorite fighters, so i would NOT wanna see that fight
