I give Nige a good chance but i just see Joe being to much, the speed, the flurrys and his fighting heart is equal to Benns IMO, he gets up to KO peeps too. Benn himself stated Joe would beat "Them all" (Him, Eu, Collins!) Beleive me id luv to say Benn, i luv em and i dont like Calzaghie much to be honest just tryin to call it like i see it but yeah Benn has a good shot at it

I can't work Nigel Benn out. He gets beaten by Chris Eubank, draws with him later and then knocks the **** out of Gerald McClellan after taking a real beating early on. I love Benn as a boxer, but I just can't work the guy out, or where it went wrong for him. I still maintain he would have beaten Joe C, though.
Geoff Hayes is probably better to talk about this as he knows more about the Benn - Eubank era than I do (and possibly Calzaghe too).
Just my two cents.

I respect your opinion....but...
Either you're on drugs, or you're 14 and don't know **** all about boxing. Outside this, you're just posting on here for a laugh. That last paragraph was nothing more than a joke.
You're obviously being hypothetical (do you know what that means?) otherwise you wouldn't have posted that. But having said that, your lines are miles out.
Benn, Eubank to beat Jones. Holy Moses. Sorta like asking Roberto Duran to beat Muhammed Ali.
Give us all a break.
jesus christ shut the **** up, you say you respect his opinion and then go on to abuse him without giving a valid oipinion of your own. What's with the ali-duran joke?? Unless you're an invalid, you would know that benn, eubank and jones were all in the same weightclass
Someone please ban this anti-british slag.
Eubank's style would have given jones some trouble, i'd expect jones to win but completely ruling out eubank would be foolish.Comment

Nonsense, nobody mastered the ring generalship like Eubank and nobody used body sways like he did. It was accepted he couldn't be beaten if you went at him, unless you went at him relentlessly and didn't actually allow him to take any of the breaks he needed during rounds.Comment

So basically, you're saying he was beatable if the opponent came to fight?Nonsense, nobody mastered the ring generalship like Eubank and nobody used body sways like he did. As for Nigel Benn at 160 - it didn't matter how fast you were, he was going to catch you.
Jones would of had to change his style and try to block the punches (in a fantasy fight this is), because otherwise he would be knocked out. It's as simple as that. And Benn carried so much natural power that he could even knock you out on the way down from being knocked out himself!Comment
