    Hopkins next opponent

Bernard hopkins has named a few opponents for a possible july PPV
Calzaghe, Winky and Roy Jones JR

Who would you like to see him fight most?

i really don't care, they are all good opponents for his next fight, but if i had to choose i would pick calzaghe

Winky would be a boring fight, RJJ would be an overhyped letdown. Calzaghe brings the most excitment. I think Hopkins is one of very few that could beat Calzaghe, but Joe definitely has a chance.

Jones Jr gives him an opportunity to avenge the loss like 14 years ago, Maskevgives him the distincion of being a HW "champ", Winky gives him a name win, but I for the life of me can’t see it happening, and Calzaghe fight gives Nard a chance to put another legit fighter (many would argue at his “prime”) on his already impressive resume.

I think he really wants Jr deep down. When in say 30 years time, people would look back at this record and say, “look he avenged that loss” whole ignoring the fact Jr was shot, I bet that’s a big thing for him…

But for me, give I want him and Joe to go at it, it has classic written all over it. I would have loved to have seen these guys go at it in like 98-99, when both were relatively unknown to the masses. Hopkins’ intelligence, Joe’s phenomenal power and speed, oh yes, but 2007 would do me just fine…..

And that's a good point, actually. If the fight takes place at 175, Joe won't be so weakened by the weight struggles, and may start hitting like he used to in the 90's with the sweeping left hook (from southpaw stance) that ****** harder than heavyweights. He'd break his hand on Hopkins's head, but it would probably knock Hopkins out.
