We're all speculating one way or the other- that Roach might leave, that he would never....but none of us know for sure. Unless you speak to Manny on a regular basis and no one here can really boast that. Would it be fair to say if Manny did axe Roach we'd all expect a decline in talent, or success?

The only statement made was regarding the fact that, despite having spoken trash about Arum's lawyer, and despite having favored golden boy and espousing the deal they offered Pacquiao, that Roach said he would support Manny's decision to join with Top Rank. I was just throwing out a hypothetical regarding boxing politics- and the fact that you can never trust the Bobfather.

I prefer Pac sign with GBP. But when it comes down to it, whoever makes the better offer, meaning more money, then the fighter will lean more into that.

Its better signing with Arum that Don King.

A statement was made by Roach in a separate interview prior to the press conference and he confirms he is still going to be at Manny's corner comes fight time.

You guys are kinda missing my point. I acknowledged that at the press conference it was made clear Roach was still with Manny. I was speaking of the obvious preference Freddie had for Golden Boy- and how that must steam Bob Arum. I was throwing out a hypothetical question of Roach leaving and what everyone thought that would do to Pac-man.

I myself wanted Pac to be with GBP but taking a hard long look at the situation it looks like it's going to be better if Pac stays on the other side of the fence.

In the long run what will happen if GBP promotes and controls all the Champs and the challengers in a division?

                    Oh I kinda miss that.

If Roach leaves Pac then Pac is going to be a different fighter. I'm not saying he is not gonna be winning fights anymore but Roach has polished and improved Pac's skills slowly but surely and the improvement is still on going not to mention the phychological toughness Roach has given Pac. Getting a new trainer would screw up Pac. He's gonna be starting from step 1.

Do you think Pac will always be with Roach? Like Winky has stayed with Dan?
