where is aaron pryor on ur guys lists? that guy was the man. Hell of a great fighter.

And what about Meldrick taylor? Right up until after the JCC fight, i cant imagine a guy i liked to watch more. He was flashy, he was quick, he could dance, he had it all.

And Arturo Gatti is probably the most exciting fighter of this generation no doubt.

and MIKE TYSON wasnt exciting. His fights lasted a few minutes. And when he lost he got beat up. His only great fight was against Holyfield, but that was it. He doesnt get to be on my most exciting list.

Manny Pacquioa has got to be the most exciting fighter of today. Hes electric, especially with that wild crowd he brings to all his fights

Muhammad Ali obviously. He was in some of the greatest wars ever.

Evander Holyfield with his Bowe fights. Outstanding stuff. And his war with Tyson was great.

Its hard for us to relate with the older guys because it was a different style of fighting. And i havent seen much of 'em. Like Willie pep vs Sand Sadler. Those are awsome fights but its much different then the awsome fights of today.

Wow! GREAT ending! Now I see what you mean by him diregarding his own safety. He's kinda like Hagler when Hagler started bleeding against Tommy.

Mike Tyson was nothing if not exciting. THE MOST exciting, undoubtedly in my mind. Ali wasn't on my list because I view excitement in a different way than what Ali does when I watch most of his fights.

It had a big write-up in The Ring, headlined as 'The British Hagler-Hearns'. That's when all the US TV stations researched Benn and tried signing him up, he agreed for NBC-TV to screen the Watson fight and if he put on a good performance he would be the first fighter to sign with NBC-TV. He was exposed against Watson and said he wanted to retire in the locker room afterwards, but Bob Arum, who watched the Watson fight, phoned Benn's manager that night and called Benn "the most exciting fighter in the world" and wanted to (and did) sign him.

He boxed for Top Rank on ABC-TV and became a star in the States, albeit short-lived (thanks to Mr Eubank... ABC-TV even refused to screen the Benn-Eubank fight because they thought Benn would just walk over him in one or two rounds).
