Loved that series, recorded every single one of them. I got Hagler-Hearns and Hearns-Leonard on the computer, can upload them if anyone wants it. The most dramatic and probably equally tragic Legendary Nights episode was Taylor-Chavez and that one is up on Youtube for those who havent seen it.

Yeah I like them. I don't believe they've made any recently. I've seen them all besides Cooney-Holmes.

I herd at one time that HBO was going to make more but that was a few years ago.

            I think they should do

            Gatti vs Ward trilogy
            Trinidad vs Vargas
            Hopkins vs De La Hoya
            Whitaker vs Chavez
            Lewis vs Rahman series
            Trinidad vs Hopkins
            Mosley vs De La Hoya

Hbo used to make some boxing episodes very similar to legendary nights but the time used was less. Like on one they'd talk about benny leonard, then say they talk about the ali v. fraizer fight. I don't know if anybody remembers these. I know the youngins may not remember, but they use to have some good boxing programs even before legendary nights. But defently want to see them make more episodes.

I wait for the day that Hbo dedicates a whole channel to boxing. They have many fights to put on and many shows to go along with it too. They can have a boxing news show every week or everyday. Since boxing every weekend or so. They could follow boxers before and after the fight. Show the post fight press confrences.

people would say that boxing isnt big enough to do that, but thats not true. Boxing is HUGE for HBO, and it's definetly one of there biggest things. They spend a looooooooot of money on each card, making it in HD, and making these countdowns for some fights.

A news show would be awsome. thats something i would love to do for a living, so i imagine there are a lot of others out there who would try to make a show like that on HBO.

Lots of things they could do with boxing, but i guess they feel that they are already spending enough money on the sport as is.

***And i was just watchin an episode, and it says before each episode that that particular fight was one of the most memorable fights in "30 years of boxing on HBO" And i remember them having a 30 year aniversary.

So maybe these episodes were just to celebrate the anniversary and nothing more... hopefully not because these things are wildly popular
