I'm serious, the sport would be much better without it. No one takes thier belt seriously, having 4 bodies is way too much and if one needs to go away or merge with the other, it should be the wbo. Joe Frazier even said in his book that the sport can grow again if they go back to the old days were there was 1 or 2 bodies only. The IBF middleweight and heavyweight title has a rich history so it should stay, but the wbo is garbage.

Imo, he helped the wbo gain popularity. He was the only fighter at the time that i remember wouldn't even own the wbc, wba, ibf titles due to them not giving him a title shot early on. But the wbo stepped up and gave him a title shot and he was always loyal to them. Not till he joined forced with Delahoya that he finally accepted the other world titles. If not for Delahoya Barrera would still favor the wbo, imo.Comment

you got the point.
if we only had one or two organizations the fighters would suffer. there would be names left out, talent not seen, and fighters getting screwed (even more)
the WBC is the most corrupt organization in the face of the earth, lord help the fighters if they were the only organization. we can blast the WBO but from a fighter stand point it is a good thing.

The only real difference between the WBC and the WBO is that the WBC are controlled by Don King and the WBO are controlled by Frank Warren.
Oh, and the WBC belt is better looking.
They're both just a bunch of ABC nowadays.Comment
