NOW that ARTURO GATTI is gone (basically), WHO IS BOXINGs MOST EXCITING FIGHTER??????

    Who do you guys think?

I think manny Pacquioa may be it. Always exciting, always throwing, incredible intensity, always dramatic, and such a great fighter too.

Or maybe OSCAR DE LA HOYA. His fight with RICARDO MAYORGA was very entertaining, and a bout with Mayweather could turn into a great fight as well.

John Duddy? his war with CAMPAS fight was FOTY stuff.

Maybe Diego Corrales? He's been in some wars, and the last few rounds of the casamayor fight were great rounds.

Basically, which guy do u turn the TV on for, knowing your gonna be thouroughly entertained from round 1?

They say it's Manny, but I can't see why...

Gatti is hard to replace in terms of that drama from the Gabe, and Rodriguez type of fights.

    I can't call it, really.

why not manny? he's been in such great wars and hes always throwing bombs, hurting his opponent. It doesnt get much better then Manny Pacquioa as of this moment.

But i agree, the drama involved in an Arturo Gatti fight was rediculous. The fact that for a four year stretch, he was dominated early and came back late (to win or lose) in almost ever fight he fought. THATS rediculous.

No diss on Manny. I just don't find him exciting for me.

Marquez was Gatti like against Manny.

That's what we're talking about, right?

          ???

U mean because he got slaughtered in the first and made the fight a draw?

Or do you mean because he made the fight exciting???

            Well exciting, yeah.

He overcame the adversity. That's Gatti's style of excitment.

Manny is a little tornado, and believe me, I know I'm outnumbered in thinking he isn't the most exciting thing in the sport right now.

I just like guys who actually box. Not piston punch running forward.

            Personally, I find that UGLY.

The Hitman Hatton, although hasn't been his old self since about the Stewart fight.

gatti hasn't been the most exciting fighter in years. he's still been entertaining, but others have been more.

gatti was the king of exciting fights from 1995 to 1998. then morales took over in about 2000, now pacquiao takes over.
