Cintron Looks To Squash Mosley

Kermit Cintron is no way near the boxer Forrest was. He's not as accurate & not a sharp shooter either. He had life & death battles with Teddy Reid & David Estrada who aren't even close to being on the same level as Mosely even now. David Estrada was hitting Cintron pretty easily & had him hurt on a few occasions. Mosely's speed & punching power will be the difference in the fight if this happened. If Vargas couldn't move Mosely with his power; I don't see the smaller Cintron hurting him either. I can see Mosely putting Cintron down with a body shot though.

And Forrest didn;t nearly as hard as Kermit...styles make fights and this one is a perfect match for an exciting fight!!

too bad Cintron took this fight at this stage of his career cause I think he still had a chance to be developed into a very good welterwight. Right now though he just isnt mentally ready for this fight plus this is a bad risk/reward for him. He wins yeah he's propelled into legitimacy, he loses in a bad fashion and people will classify him in the almost used to be good. This fight will more than likely expose the fact that Cintron can't take a punch. everyone here who has seen Cintron fight already knows this and already knows that Mosley is gonna hit Cintron Equals hurt him Equals TKO him!

yes Cintron chin is a bit suspectable but if you see Cintron new style is similar to lennox and wlad style i think its the Steward magic worling on him

Cintron is a much younger and hungrier fighter who's seeking recognition and what is it for Mosley?

Mosley will always have the advantage in experience but I won't be suprised if Cintron makes an upset.

Yeah a title shot but it won't be that glorious for him to accomplish that since he has already fought in the higher division, at least for me.

It would be awesome to see Cintron against Cotto if he wins this one.

I think its a smart move, if he can get pass Cintron, challenge Cotto, June MSG in a huge PPV event. If he can get pass Cotto, go for Mayweather and make even more money. Probably retire after that.

With all due respect you can't compare Suarez to Mosely at all. Suarez is very green & has limited skills & only fought alot of journeymen. That was his first step up in class & according to what read about that fight, Suarez had his moments in that fight. Mosely is just on a different level then anyone he's ever faced; including Margarito. Even though Cintron has improved & has been using the jab more, he still gets tagged alot. Mosely is a good puncher & will tag Cintron all night.

Cintron is in over his head, against even this version of Shane Mosley.
Cintron is a very slow fighter.....so it doesn't matter how heavily he clubs when compared to a prime-time Vernon Forrest. The series of punches that Forrest floored Mosley with, are the kind of shots the limited Cintron can't even dream of throwing. So, let's stop with the comparisons between those two.

Aren't you guys who are picking Cintron a little bit worried about how mentally frail he was against Margarito ? He really came apart once Margarito started getting to him. I see something similar happening against Shane. After Shane comes over the top with some big rights, I see Kermit starting to think about how he's in against Shane Mosley.....& he will be taken apart- again !
