DLH's lame acting job at the end made it look like it was fixed. I don't think we'll ever know, but it seems strange that Hopkins came on as a GBP partner right after this fight...

When we see guys dropped or stopped with body shots, have they ever rolled around the canvas in pain, rather then just kind of freeze in pain, sometimes while on a knee?

Not saying DLH definitely faked it but I'm wondering if ther has ever been any cases where a guy reacted to a body shot like Oscar?

That's exactly right! that's why I knew right from the start that DLH ripped us off.

Dammit, aside from your point he was up on his feet after a minute or two moving around the ring smilling, hugging and shaking hands.

I'm a DLH fan, but **** after watching that fight maybe 20 times I just can see the solid hit. That two punches thrown both gazed DLH's elbow and arm.

I have also notice when fighters get hit on the side of the head (not talking about rabbit punches) they start to wobble with their legs. For example, Miguel Cotto against Corley I believe it was the third round....Corley gave Cotto a shot to the head and he started to do a lil chicken dance. Same thing with Gatti and Robinson 1 on the last round when Gatti was trying to come back. There more examples but I cant remember right now.

Anyone who has been punched in that spot could answer that for you, no he didn't fake it.

I doubt he was faking it, HOP caught him good a lot of people accuse DLH of faking that as he went down after more punches were thrown. I dislike how he smacked the canvas and whined about it though.

That's hard to answer because I think there were several things going on.

I think Oscar did get dropped. But he looked like he decided to stay down.

I think he could have gotten up. Pounding his glove looked like forced acting to me. His frustration seemed ingenuine.

I've seen fighters get KO'd with that same shot with the same reaction on ESPN FNF. They are down for a good 30sec-1min depending on how hard their liver was hit. They CAN'T get up even if they tried the pain is too great.
