Their boxing careers have already peaked and have gone back down to a non recoverable status in my opinion... I would rather see a different fight, especially some new prospect.

yes they are shot but would you bring a hunrgy prospect to destroy them.

i think i want to see a competitive fight with excitment and i think this fight will be exciting.

i first though about Corely vs Sharmba but corely is on 140

Ok let me defined it for you:

Shot fighter: one that has lost its ability to assimilate punishment....

wow some boxing fans are dumb, of course both are shot duh motha****as we know that! But since they are shot and still hanging on i rather see them in a great fight aginst 1 another, then tryin to fight the heir apparents to the division!

If this fight happens it will be sad. Two former good fighters fighting each other when both are terribly worn down. This fight would be sad truely sad.

I disagree with you guys about being shot. Gatti lost to the best fighter in the world and a very good fighter in Baldy that was just too big. Gatti still fought well in that fight. Just because you get beat doesnt mean you shot. Its not like he lost to bums.

Mitchell maybe shot as he looks lost at times but he too recently only lost to the elite. He too lost to the best guy around, lost to the great Tszyu, and lost to a 12 foot tall up & coming monster.

I dont know if its fair to say these guys are done, e****ally Gatti. However, if they fought I would favor Mitchell but its a 55/45 thing. I still think Gatti could give alot of top guys a run for there money. He would give Cotto a much better fight then you guys think and so would Baldy.

I think it better for them to fight each other or a prospect that hold some regional belts rather than world titles. it would be good pay day for them and we all want excitment and competitive fight rather than slaughtered one.

Id like to see both retire to be honest but if they insist on fightin its best they stick to fighters of their own current ability, ie, each other! Id probably pick Gatti
