Looking down the list, Ruben Castillo, Roger Mayweather, Dwight Pratchett, Rocky Lockridge, Juan LaPorte, Edwin Rosario, Bazooka Limon, Sweet Pete Whitaker, Oscar De La Hoya, Kostya Tszyu, Macho Camacho, ... Win or lose, controversy or no controversy, those are some incredible opponents to me.
He turned professional at an extremely early age. Especially during those young years you have to treat your fighter with care in matching opponents. Any fighter can be dangerous at any given moment, but you need time to learn. Chavez was a true professional to the capital T. He learned his trade almost soley in the professional ring.

I have the utmost respect for Chavez. If they were out there eventually he fought them all, with pride. Great little fighter!............Rockin'
