    Season’s Grievances - Part One.

    There are many places on the Internet where you can find gushing previews of the coming year. This is not one of them. 2007 will contain its due share of highs and lows, controversy, calamity, glory and garbage. Moreover, boxing will remain a sport with the barest sense of itself, mired in disorganization and hypocrisy, and what follows is a series of random ravings explaining some of the reasons why.

    Obviously, the credo of one being innocent until proven guilty is not one that the IBF believes. Orlando Salido out-pointed Robert Guerrero for the IBF featherweight championship on November 4, but is alleged to have failed a routine drug test. Before Salido has even appeared before the Nevada Commission to defend himself, the IBF have ordered that Guerrero will contest the vacant title against the highest ranked challenger. [details]
