Boxrec is just that, a bunch of letters and numbers.

I know for a fact Joe Calzaghe KO'd a lot of guys with his sweeping left hook (from southpaw stance) and overhand left (which he had to stop using because it was messing up his wrist) earlier in his career, but looking at boxrec it lists TKO's.

that means nothing, if he knocked a guy out cold and the ref never starts the count it goes down as a TKO.... nowadays much more often than not the ref waves the fight off before finishing a full ten count for various different reasons.
