Was he that talented or was it something else?
So why has not Roy Jones lost a fight?

He has lost fights.. Gerald McClellan beat him at the 1988 Golden Gloves (Jones struggled to get off the ropes), Montell Griffin beat him fair and square with Eddie Futch (out-feinted him and out-boxed him), and Antonio Tarver beat him fair and square (via one-punch knockout), and he's lost a few since, too. -
Because speed kills. The only way to beat Roy is do what Tarver did. Punch with him and not be intimidated by the SWOOSH SWOOSHComment

To the person who started this thread: Roy lost in his prime to a guy he hit while down, that he was on the verge of destroying. Then he KOd the guy in the next fight, 1st round. That was Montell Griffin, a very good and tricky boxer.
Roy was never really bested in his prime by anyone. Tarver was able to beat hm twice in is older age. At the time of that fight, Roy had more ring wear and had aged his body by losing lots of muscle mass in a decision to move from 200 lbs of solid muscle back down to lightheavyweight.Comment

Montell Griffen did not "beat" him fair and square.
And were talking about the professionals, you know, the fights that actully MATTER.Comment
