Nope, its not confirmed, Margarito may need surgery on his hand, if he does Williams might become the interim champ, this will only push back any agenda of Cotto-Margarito or Cotto-Williams, whoever keeps the WBO title. There's also the possibility that Margarito gives the title up to go for Cotto's, we'll see.

Margarito has made Mosley on FNF say he will not fight Margarito and other fighters besides Mayweather didn't want to fight him at the time, now compare that to Williams who is a mandatory to Margarito. Williams who is getting a lot of hype with him, just because people like how he fights. It doesn't compare. But i do wish Margarito fights Williams first and then Cotto.
