Delahoya won the fight regardless if he boxed too much at the later rounds. And Trinidad damn, truth be told, he was scared to cut the ring off on Delahoya. And it was Trinidad, like Mosley, who turned down a rematch -Mosley turned down a 3rd fight with Delahoya. And if you can't call Delahoya a warriror then who can you call a warrior....Delahoya has proven himself time and again before and after that fight.
Mosley didn't need to give Oscar a rematch he had already won 2! even if the second was bull****..its best two out of three. Say they take fight three and Oscar wins...then what? fight again..then again after that pretty soon its best out of 5, then 7 etc.

Nope, according to Lederman the score after 9 rounds was 6-3 ODLH, and Tito won 10-11 & 12 becuase ODLH back pedal, is not Tito's fault that ODLH opted to fight like a ***** and run run run...that is not a champ to me...dude so the fact that Harada had it even and Roth had it for TIto and so did Logist, clearly show who the winner was.....and Tito did took the rematrch becuase he got screwed by the money split, in typical ODLH fashion always taking the bigeest split, and in the original contract it clearly stated that if Tito win, he would set the split and not ODLH...so shut up if you don;t know what time it is....after that since Tito won the fight and is ODLH who needed to be revindicated he was to abide by Papa Trinidad rules and he didn;t ...with all the money he had ..this rematch should have been about pride and take the split and made it happened instead he pouted like a little kid...

I agree it should have been about pride and not about money.. Too many people fight for money and not for glory witch is sad. If I was Oscar I would have said fine its a deal just so I can get back in there and prove myself. But Oscar didn't feal he had lost and got ripped off and felt he won so he didn't want abide by Trinidads rules because in his mind he had one...They should have just split that **** 50/50 or something and duked it out again. **** like that is what makes boxing gay sometimes..

In all honesty, I beleive that ODLH knew that Tito was stronger in the late rounds, and ODLH had always a tendecy to whimp in the late rounds, except Quartey, he fought valiantly, bit that was it....he faded substatially against Tito, and if the rematch would had happend and ODLH decided to go toe to toe, he would ahve getting hurt....and if he not run in the late rounds and decided to hang in there, he would ahve gotten KO also....

They clearly robbed Delahoya in the second fight. And whats wrong with 5-6 fights? Each one would be more and more interesting, imo. You're a rookie, look up Robinson-Lamotta or Saddler-Pep. They fought many times.

Most everybody says Delahoya won the fight clearly, but you can have your opinion. And if you want to call Delahoya a ***** then i'll do the same and call Trinidad a ***** for not having the balls to cut off the ring on Delahoya, don't tell me Trinidad doesn't know how to cut off the ring on a fighter. Fact is he knew Delahoya punchs hurt, so he was contempt with following and receiving punchs from Delahoya.

And Delahoya is the big dog in boxing today and yesterday. Trinidad didn't make Delahoya money with Delahoya. Its Delahoya who bring even more people to watch his fights and brings in other sponsers and everything else including money that Delahoya should get the bigger cut. Trinidad knew what awaited him in the rematch. He was already going to get more money then he'd have gotten before but the risk of losing to Delahoya again was one he didn't want to take. And at the same time King was going to pay him some nice money agianst some other fighters so no need for him to get his ass kicked again by Delahoya. And though he got paid less against other fighters he fought, he at least didn't have to fight Delahoya and add a lose to his record a the time.

I doubt that..Tito landed clean in the last rounds. If they did go toe to toe Oscar is the stronger man. This is a guy who Ricardo Mayorga let him give him two free hits..Two left hooks and couldn't knock him until the 8th round. Oscar had dude in the first three and could have finished it if he wasn't trying to make Mayorga look ****** and punish him. Trading Oscar would have punished Tito IMO but he chose to box.

That was in the old days, I don't think people would pay to see the same fight over and over again now a days.
