Rahman will fight in the ten-round main event and Mesi will box in a ten-round co-main event with opponents yet to be named. Top Rank will promote the show with the two bouts being televised on the Versus Network. With both Mesi and Rahman on the same card, a possible showdown between these heavyweights in the near future may finally happen. This will be Mesi's 5th fight since his suspension and Rahman is looking to rebound from his last loss that cost him the title.

good to see these two coming back, hopefully mesi will step up his competition a little bit maybe a robert wiggins caliber fighter, hopefully rahman will take a slight step back in competition not to the point of fighting tomato cans like in his prior string of five or 6 consecutive victories, but maybe against a mike mollo or dominic guinn caliber fighter

Oh weak... I thought Mesi was going to fight someone who I have heard before.

This is good news for us hw boxing fans; we get to see how Joe Mesi does in a 10 round match since his comeback and how Rahman looks after suffering an embarrassing loss to Oleg Maskaev. The only thing I hope is that both Mesi and Rahman are fighting opponents who are there to win and not just 'handpicked' opponents who are there to make then look good. Also, kudos to 'Vs' network for putting together this exciting hw card.

I really liked watching Mesi before the layoff/suspension. He was fun to watch.

Since the comeback he has looked really slow & has no defense at all. I dont think he can beat Rahman now. Maybe before the injury.
