These sound like the words of a man who hasn't struggled in his life and shows no respect to men who did, simply because you don't know what its like. I wasn't saying that you have to be black to have misfortunes did I? But it is different in the US; blacks have to jump higher, and run faster then EVERYONE else. You cannot even argue againts it.

You know what, Puerto Ricans are the most well off Latinos in the entire race by default. They get a free ticket to the United States, and if they struggle, its because they want to struggle. They have no right to be sitting at home in the projects complaining about not being able to get a job when other undocumented latinos are able to feed a family of six. So don't come with that life is a stuggle for Ricans bull****. Oh well, in a few years, Ricans will lose their indentity when Puerto Rico becomes a common wealth just like Hawaii did. Soon, white peole will have more houses on the beach then poor black Ricans have on the ****** streets.

Hearns was a very good fighter but having a chin is a huge part of boxing. This thread is kind of like saying that Chris Byrd would have been the best heavyweight of our era if he had Tyson's punch.

He fought 26 rounds with one of the top 10 ATG's on anyones list, and got the best out of him winning more rounds and outboxing the boxer if you ad all the those 26 rounds together, Tommy wouldhave won by UD on points...

He got shafted by History, yet he gave us the best 3 rounds in boxing against MMH, he stood toe to toe for 3 rounds, takes no prisioners fight against Hagler....something that SRL didn't do...He outboxed the incredible Wilfred El Radar Benitez, a master technician...he destroyed Duran in 2 rounds...2 rounds with one of the mnost devastating right hands I ever seen...that was electric...he detroyed with one punch the great Pipino Cuevas...yet he is not talk at the same level as the SRL and Hagler...

In all honesty , Hearns, SRL and Hagler should be considered equals in history , not one better than the other one in an ATG list they should all be equal, with Duran possibly ahead of then for what he did a LW and the fact that he was the oleder and smaller of the group, but that;s arguable...what we can argued is that Hearns was an incredible odity that was not given a solid chin, but yet transcended on the sport by his power and boxing skills.
Cool. I sometimes imagine Hearns vs. Robinson. SRR wins most of time since he can take The Hitman's heat longer than Hearns can take his. Hearns wins sometimes though in my mind and the fights are usually very exciting, whether they end short of the distance or not.

Hearns is my all-time favorite fighter. He brought it every time, win or lose and when he lost he had nothing but praise for his vanquisher. How come they don't put Hearns in that boxing game? Eheh, maybe just like you were saying, Orishaman.

I think Tommy's main problem was his stamina, not his chin.
I can see Tommy outboxing SRR, but getting KOed leading on all three cards in round 11.

Possibly and maybe even just his thin legs carrying such a massive frame and shoulders, I was amazed at his balace and leverage ...one of the best if not the best at that!!
