Formerly world ranked lightweight Miguel Angel Huerta (24-7-1, 17 KOs) scored a sixth round stoppage of late sub Antonio "Canaseca" Ramirez (24-13-6, 17 KOs) Friday night at Cicero Stadium in Cicero, Illinois. Huerta scored a flash knockdown in round two against an off-balance Ramirez but there was no question about the knockdown in round five.
