    Bernard Hopkins vs Oneil Bell

Hopkins has a July 14 PPV date with HBO reserved for his comeback fight, they set that so he has enough time to find an opponent. Hopkins has hitlist of people he wants to fight, and in order it is 1. Maskaev, 2. Calzaghe, 3. Oneil Bell.

I dont think the fight with Maskaev is going to happen because he is busy with the Toney vs Peter winner and W.Klit. The Calzaghe fight might happen, but it seems hard to see them coming to some agreement. The fight that seems the easiest to make is the Oneil Bell fight. Bell for sure isnt going to turn it down and isnt going to argue for 50/50, plus if Hopkins wins he will be the undisputed crusierweight champion which will REALLY add to his legacy. Theres enough incentive for both of them to come to an agreement and this seems like the most likely fight here. It would be interesting too.

That's the route I'd like him to take.

Unification of the cruiserweights. He's better than all of them anyways.

Roy Jones was also on the list, that actually might be easier to make now than it was. But still, Hopkins vs Bell is interesting and gives the Crusierweight division some exposure.

the CW division is one of the most underrated division.

and Bell is a ****ing monster he KOed a person that is bigger and stronger than Hopkins. so Hopkins should use all his boxing skills to win this one and every single weapon he have and study Bell inside out and know his weakness.

but way Bell there isnt marketablitiy in that division?

Hopkins knows he can dec. Bell. That's why he wants him.

Bell can be amazingly sloppy but his straight has saved his ass in the past.

          Not against Ex.

I'd rather Hopkins didn't- It would be another Tarver situation.

LHW was Hopkins real wieght but here is an extra wieght he puts one and it will be harder to move so he need some prepare very well because one mistake could finish him off. Bell is stronger than Tarver IMO.

Maskaev is stronger than Bell, and that's the other option.

I agree with you though, Bell's right hand is Tommy Hearns-ish.

What a joke. July 14? Why the hell would he wait that long when he is old already? He needs to get on the ball right ****ing now.

                Lame.
