And it's no secret that Reid did not train for Lacy, he was shadow-boxing next to a swimming pool. He took it purely for the payday, because his sharpness and timing was so 'off' in the Magee and Serdjane fights that he knew he couldn't win. That's why he said afterwards that Lacy would stand little chance against Calzgahe, and did not rate Lacy after the fight.

To see Reid at his best see the Wharton, Calzaghe and Ottke fights.

I was sure Lacy was the real deal and I still think he can rebuild his career.........but the same people who claim Cal belongs ranked high on a "P4P" scale, are usually the same ones who make threads bashing Lacy and calling him "1-dimmensional".

If he's nothing special and a mere hypejob...what does that say about the level of opposition Calzaghe is facing? If anything I'd rank him on a scale but let's get realistic. There's a criteria for being considered one of the best fighters, and that usually means having beaten someone with a remote pulse outside of a prospect or washed up was "pretty good" not "great" fighter in Chris Eubank.
He fought twice or more in germany, and this is not his backyard

Calzaghe has probably fought around 20 times in his backyard, in 42 fights.

He's often gone to his opponents backyard (Eubank, Reid, Starie, Woodhall etc) and often been treated like **** and boo'd out the building.

You've got that wrong, Reid didn't think much of Calzaghe because of how close their fight was.

He thought Lacy was going to KO Calzaghe, the camera's were focused on him before the fight started and the commentators said Reid predicted Lacy to win by KO.

"I've fought both and I can tell you, Calzaghe's handspeed is far superior to Lacy's. Joe will also be much too strong for Lacy. I was surprised how I could easily push Lacy around the ring. For all his reputation, Lacy is nowhere near as strong as Joe and will get beat inside the distance." - Reid

Your the one who spams this board and consistantly posts biased, fanitical nonsense about boxers from your home country.
You are the laughingstock of this forum, and are purley insane.
