The fight between Wlad & Maskaev will not happen because of the Don King factor and if it does happen, which I doubt, Toney or Peters will get in the way of it trying to stop it but if it does happen I see Wlad coming out victorious and leaving with two belts only to show up with one belt at his next fight cause either the WBC or the IBF will strip him of the title for not fighting its mandatory. WBC will have Toney or Peters as the mandatory and the IBF has Ray Austin. If Wlad chooses to fight Austin the WBC will strip him for not fighting the winner of Toney-Peters II next and if he fights the Winner of Toney-Peters II the IBF will strip him for not fighting Austin next.
So I dont see the point of unifying with Maskaev next cause after that one title is getting stripped. If Wlad wins the WBC title and keeps the IBF title, will the WBA make him "Super Champ" and give him a WBA belt?
