if the ref did not give sloppiano a 8 count
which was illiegal, archie would have
finished him. but sloppiano was allowed
to recover by the 8 count the cheating
methods of the referree. 8 counts were
not allowed in the fight therefore archie
won that fight in reality. that is why sloppiano
did not want a rematch and retired after that
fight. he knew in his white heart that he lost.

How many of his fights have you actually seen? Did the ref cheat in the first Walcott match? Was it a fast count? Did I miss something, like extra footage of Jersey Joe bitching about a quick stoppage? Or maybe you're talking about the long count in round one when Walcott clearly got shafted becaue Rocky didn't really beat the count? Or perhaps you're talking about the fast stoppage in the second LaStarza fight and the foreign object Rocky had in his gloves that caused Roland's blood vessels in his arms to burst. No! Wait!! I know!! You mean the time that he kept beating Archie Moore to the canvas without showing proper respect for his elders and letting him get a breather! That cheating inconsiderate bastard!
